Build­ing Cham­pi­ons CEO and Head Coach, Daniel Harkavy, founded the com­pany in 1996 and cur­rently coaches a hand­ful of exec­u­tives while also rep­re­sent­ing Build­ing Cham­pi­ons at events around the world. He and his team have coached thou­sands of pro­fes­sion­als to peak lev­els of suc­cess, per­for­mance, prof­itabil­ity and fulfillment.

Daniel’s most recent book, Becom­ing a Coach­ing Leader: The Proven Strat­egy for Build­ing Your Own Team of Cham­pi­ons, takes his more than 20 years of coach­ing expe­ri­ence and trans­fers it into a method that lead­ers can use to more effec­tively develop their teams.

Uti­liz­ing lessons learned from coach­ing across a vari­ety of indus­tries, from sales pro­fes­sion­als to CEOs of pub­lic cor­po­ra­tions, Daniel has cre­ated more than 100 cus­tom tai­lored work­shops and keynotes for audi­ences from 2 to 5,000.

Prior to found­ing Build­ing Cham­pi­ons, Daniel was a senior leader at a non-depository lend­ing insti­tu­tion where he was respon­si­ble for the organization’s sales team. It was there that his tal­ent for devel­op­ing lead­ers and encour­ag­ing improve­ment in teams was cul­ti­vated, lead­ing him to found a com­pany whose sole prod­uct would be to help oth­ers lead more pur­pose­ful busi­nesses and lives.

Daniel is active in his com­mu­nity as founder of an inter­na­tional non-profit, a mem­ber of advi­sory boards and a men­tor to those who seek his lead­er­ship advice.

Daniel and his wife Sheri live in Lake Oswego, Ore­gon with their four chil­dren: Alexan­dra, Dylan, Wes­ley and Emily.
